Kenneth Clark "Kenny" Loggins was born in Everett (Washington) in 1948 and is a singer, songwriter, producer, and multi instrumentalist (guitar, piano, and harmonica). Over the years, his musical style has spanned many genres such as soft rock (a subgenre of pop music that largely features acoustic guitars and slow to mid tempos), adult contemporary (popular radio music, ranging from 1960s vocal and 1970s soft rock music to predominantly ballad heavy music of the present day, with varying degrees of easy listening, pop, soul, rhythm and blues, and rock influence), AM pop (the dominant sound of Top 40 AM radio during the 1960s and '70s), and country. He's had a stellar career with 13 studio albums (3 of which have been certified Gold and 4 of which went Platinum), 2 Gold certified live albums, 2 compilation albums (one of which went Platinum), 1 Christmas album, 31 singles (5 of which were top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart), and 14 music videos.
